Since 2009

Post-doctorial position for the coordination of the quantum gas research groups at the Centre for Optical Quantum Technologies, Hamburg University

Research topics: ultracold bosonic and fermionic quantum gases, quantum gas mixtures, spinor-Bose-Einstein condensates. One-dimensional quantum gases in hollow core fibres. High precision spectroscopy on optical transitions (Yb).

Accomplishments: Non-destructive quantum state measurements at the standard quantum limit for atomic clock applications. Quantum noise squeezing for improvement of high precision spectroscopy to beyond the standard quantum limit.
