Dr. Vincent Boyer
Besides integrated quantum sensors, my main research interests lie at the boundary between quantum optics and cold atom physics, where experiments combine the quantum nature of light and the exquisite control of cold atoms. My current research deals with the spatial quantum properties of light and the science of quantum imaging (http://mpa.ac.uk/muarc/research/quantumoptics.html).

Dr. Vincent Boyer will be the project manager. He is working at the boundary between quantum optics and ultracold atom physics. Applications includequantum information devices and precision measurements. His advances have led to the realization of light fields that are entangled in their spatial dimensions (quantum images) (Science 321, 544 ) and can be delayed in quantum buffers (Nature 457, 859 ).
